Water ballon toss at the neighborhood block party

As the summer draws to an end, our street had its annual block party. The event really kicked off with a visit by our local firetruck. The fire lieutenant looked vaguely familiar with is handlebar mustache. Then Meegan walked up ... "Hey, that's the guy that took our fireworks two years ago!" After the firetruck, the kids had a chaotic water balloon toss that ended in tears for only one of children. (Can you guess which one from the pictures?) The food was fantastic, and the night was finished off with a campfire in the middle of the street for the adults and the movie Homeward Bound for the kids.
